Dolly Shoes

Hello! 

Today I'm doing my first fashion post yay! I decided I would start off by writing about these super cute shoes that I would personally call 'Dolly Shoes' I don't know the real name haha. I have 2 pairs a black pair that I got last summer and a navy pair which I got during the January sales. Both pairs are from office.

These are the black pair. Whilst being cute and pretty they are very practical as they are extremely comfortable and although they are patent they don't scratch a lot at all. These shoes would be great for things like school or work, and look great with a lot of different outfits, I've worn things like dresses with tights with them and they look great!

These are the navy ones which I think are a bit more girly and maybe a bit better for Spring and Summer time. Again these shoes look great with loads of things and I think look extremely pretty with cute frilly socks. But I do think that these would be less practical in the colder months as they are nubuck and I think would probably stain easier.

Rimmel - Wake Me Up foundation Review

Today I thought I'd properly start off my blog with a beauty review. As you can see I'm going to be reviewing the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation. I got this, I think back in December probably around Christmas time so it has lasted me a good amount of time considering that I still have a lot of product left in the bottle. My shade is 100 Ivory. The bottle claims that the foundation has an anti-fatigue effect and will give you a radiant glow. The product also contains SPF 15.

First of all can I just point put that I think the packaging is lovely, I really like the fact that it is a glass bottle rather than plastic as I think it just gives a nicer effect and I also love that there is a pump which I find makes it a lot easier to get out and to choose how much you think you need.

The product it's self I find a very good consistency not being too thick but also not runny which makes it, I find nicer to apply. There is a shimmer to it but nothing extreme that will have you looking like a disco ball or anything haha, the shimmer just adds to the 'Wake Me Up' affect by making your face look more fresh.  Personally I love this product and  use it pretty much daily (I only use about 1 pump which is more than enough) and I do find that it does exactly what it claims to do. Out of 5 I would definitely give it 5.

Starting Out

Hello, this is my first ever blog post! I'm slightly nervous to be posting this but at the same time I'm so, so, excited.
My blog is going to be a beauty and fashion blog inspired by the many amazing beauty/fashion bloggers out there that I enjoy reading regularly.
